Wrap vs. Sandwich

I like making wraps over sandwiches because it’s usually less calories (~100cal per wrap) and you can add a bunch of good ingredients that don’t always fit well in a sandwich. You should always try to buy wraps that have at least 2g Fiber per serving.

Try this wrap recipe for your next lunch treat!

One whole wheat wrap
3 small slices of sharp cheddar cheese (melted if you get fancy)
1/4 Avocado
1/2 ripe tomato
3 small slices of roasted red pepper (I get mine in a jar from Henry’s, but you could make your own)
1 small slice of sweet onion (your preference on this one, I love onion!)

Wrap it up and enjoy this light goodness! Add a side of salad for extra veggies.
